Concessions are granted to monthly or yearly METREBUS pass holders at all the museums belong to the Civic Museums Network.

Description

Metrebus system
To support the mobility inside the Roma Capitale territory and the Regione Lazio, the public transport operators Atac, Cotral and Trenitalia have adopted the Metrebus fare system, a system that gives at the holders the possibility to use the tickets and passes of the companies mentioned above and the buses of the ultra suburban and night lines operated by Roma TPL, subject to the limits imposed by the ticket purchased.

Metrebus Roma
Metrebus Roma tickets and subscriptions are valid in the Roma Capitale area:
- on the buses, street trams and trolleybuses;
- on the Cotral urban section bus;- on the underground;
- on the regional railways Roma-Lido, Roma-Viterbo, Roma-Giardinetti:
- on the Trenitalia regional trains;
- 2nd class urban route.

Metrebus Lazio
The Regione Lazio is divided into seven areas indicated with six letters: A , B, C, D, E, F.

Area A
- the area surrounding the Area Roma Capitale
- is represented by 2 areas when counting the areas to be purchased.

There are two different categories of Metrebus Lazio system tickets and passes including Rome and not including Rome. The cost of the ticket varies in relation to the number of areas chosen.

With Metrebus Lazio it is possible to use the Local Public Transport ( TPL) system of Roma Capitale ( buses and coaches, underground lines A and B), Co.Tra.L. S.p.A., Trenitalia (only in 2nd class) and railways in concession to Met.Ro. S.p.A., and inside the Regione Lazio limited to the areas purchased. The following connections are not included: the special tpl Atac connection, the special Cotral Roma Tiburtina/Termini-Fiumicino Airport connection, the Trenitalia "No stop" Roma Termini-Fiumicino Airport "Leonardo Express" connection and all Trenitalia connections with origin or destination Fiumicino Airport in the Lazio Region.

Atac ticket counters, open from 7.00 to 20.00, Sundays and public holidays from 8.00 to 20.00. At Atac ticket counters it is possible to pay by credit card and debit card.

Children
Children aged up to ten years old are admitted for free on the Atac SpA and Cotral SpA vehicles within the territory of Roma Capitale (excluding special lines), if accompanied by an adult. Children's pushchairs do not pay for transport, provided they are folded.

Transporting animals
Dogs

Small and medium-sized dogs are allowed on board, subject to payment of the regular fare ticket. Only guide dogs accompanying persons with visual disabilities may be transported free of charge.

All dogs - a maximum of two per vehicle - must be kept on a leash and a muzzle and in appropriate health conditions. Access is permitted from the rear of the carriages and the first and last underground carriages.

Cats, birds and small animals
Animals may be transported in cages or baskets no larger than 25x45x80 cm at the normal fare. Companions of animals must pay compensation for any damage caused to people, vehicles or property.

Tickets

BIT (€ 1,50) valid for 100 minutes from the first validation; in the underground the ticket is valid for a single trip, even on several lines, without exiting the turnstiles

ROMA 24H (€ 7,00) valid 24 hours from the first validation and for an unlimited number of journeys in the Roma Capitale area

ROME 48H (€ 12,50) valid for 48 hours from the first time the ticket is validated for an unlimited number of trips in the Roma Capitale area

ROME 72H (€ 18,00) valid for 72 hours from the first validation for an unlimited number of trips inside the Roma Capitale area

CIS (€ 24,00) valid for 7 days from the date of the first validation, until 24.00 of the seventh day including the day of the validation, and for an unlimited number of trips inside the Roma Capitale area.

BIT REGENERATION LIMITED EDITION (€ 6,00 Strip of 4 BITs) valid for 100 minutes from the date of the first validation.

BIG (€ cancelled ticket no longer valid or replaced)

RAILWAY ROME-VITERBO - Tickets for one-way fares

SEASON TICKETS:

- MENSILE PERSONALE ticket (€ 35,00) valid for the calendar month indicated on the ticket or on the recharge receipt, for an unlimited number of trips in the Roma Capitale area.

- MENSILE IMPERSONALE ticket (€ 53,00) valid for the calendar month indicated on the recharge receipt, for an unlimited number of trips in the Roma Capitale area. the ticket can be used by different people.

- ANNUALE ROMA ticket (€ 250.00) valid for 365 days from the date of recharge shown on the receipt.

Roma Pass
The Roma Pass is the cultural-tourist card that offers discounts and services for visiting the city's museums.

The Roma Pass gives access to all the monuments, museums and archaeological sites included in the package and entitles the holder to free admission to the first two sites and/or museums chosen and reduced admission to all further sites and/or museums visited. Valid for three consecutive days from the first admission, it can be purchased at the price of € 52.00 (valid 72 hours) and € 32.00 (valid 48 hours) at all the museums and sites included in the offer, as well as at the Tourist Information Points of the City of Rome and at the exhibition spaces that have an agreement.

Free admission to the following museums: Museo della Repubblica Romana e della memoria garibaldina, Museo Bilotti a Villa Borghese, Museo Canonica, Museo delle Mura, Museo Napoleonico and Villa di Massenzio ( in addition to the 2 free admissions).

The Roma Pass includes public transport inside the city of Rome on the only urban means of transport included in the offer.

It is valid for 72 hours (Roma Pass 72H) or 48 hours (Roma Pass 48H) from the moment of the first validation, on ATAC transport (trams, buses, metro A, B, B1 and C and the Roma-Lido, Roma Flaminio Piazza del Popolo-Viterbo (up to Sacrofano) and Roma-Giardinetti railways), on routes located inside the Roma Capitale area. The connection to and from Ciampino airport is possible by ATAC bus line 720 with arrival/departure from Laurentina Metro B station square (lane VI) and ATAC line 520 with arrival/departure from Metro A Subaugusta (terminus - square in front of the stop) and Cinecittà stations. Excluded are special connections tpl Atac, the regional railways Trenitalia FL (ex FR), the special connection Cotral Roma Tiburtina/Termini-Fiumicino Airport, the connection Trenitalia "No stop" Roma Termini-Fiumicino Airport (Leonardo Express) and all connections to and from Fiumicino.

The new Roma Pass, which uses the technology developed by ATAC for the Metrebus Card, is on sale at all ticket offices managed by ATAC.
